Quantum Foundation is welcoming local grassroots nonprofits to apply for funding through its annual Quantum in the Community (QIC) program, now in its sixteenth year of supporting organizations that meet the most essential needs across Palm Beach County.

Applications open June 1 and close August 2, with $1.25 million in grant funding available to eligible nonprofits with annual budgets at or under $500,000.

Through QIC, Quantum Foundation provides critical funding to organizations addressing food, shelter, transportation, clothing, and financial assistance needs. Additional support may include access to healthcare, medical equipment, hygiene supplies, furniture, and other essential services that help stabilize individuals and families throughout the county.

Eligible applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) organizations that have been operating in Palm Beach County for at least six months and have an annual operating budget of $500,000 or less.

Quantum Foundation will also continue accepting nominations for the Marie Thorpe Above & Beyond Award for an individual who exemplifies extraordinary service and dedication to the community. The honoree will receive a $2,500 award, with an additional $2,500 granted to their nominating organization.
Grant recipients will be announced in the third week of October and will be recognized at the annual Quantum in the Community Awards Breakfast on November 17 at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach.
