The Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society will hold its ‘Safari Nights’ every Friday evening at 4:15-9 p.m. from June through August, starting June 5.
Each night, thirteen in total, will feature a family-friendly theme that kids and adults are encouraged to dress according to. The first night’s theme: ‘Under the Sea.’ Guests dressed to the theme will be entered for a chance at a Palm Beach Zoo prize pack, filled with goodies valued at $150.
Guests of all ages can experience roving animal encounters and learn about animals through keeper talks and training sessions. An interactive fountain and a bounce house will be available to kids, as well as activities such as games and craft stations, dance parties, face painting, airbrush tattoos, costume contests, and sand art. Kids can also take pictures with the zoo’s costume characters – “Timmy the Tiger,” “Bongo the Bear,” and “Teddy the Toucan” (depending on the weather).
Don’t worry adults; the zoo has you covered too. Live music and refreshments will be served on the Tropics Café deck overlooking Baker Lake (select evenings). And as always, the zoo will be open for patrons to explore at night.
- Admission costs $15.95 for adults, $9.95 for children (zoo members are free). For more information, visit palmbeachzoo.org/safari-nights.
