Boca Raton has long needed a waterfront spot for local seafood and tropical cocktails, and SeaSpray Inlet Grill has recently answered the call. Both glamorous and laid-back, SeaSpray has a fun-loving vibe developed by Evolution Hospitality as part of an extensive $500,000 renovation of Waterstone Resort and Marina, which houses the restaurant.

Executive chef Kelley Randall developed a menu of “traditional staples highlighted by local seafood” with sustainability in mind. “You can come by boat or by car, have a bunch of burgers, order fresh salads and quality seafood options, or reserve an 8 p.m. seating and dine more formally, for steak, grilled mahi, or other quality entrees,” Randall said in a release. “There’s both glitz and familiarity, but it’s a breezy vibe.”

Expect palate-pleasing highlights like craft cocktails (or pineapple jalapeño margaritas) paired with shareable plates, handhelds, and larger main meals such as skirt-steak frites or frutti de mare.

The menu is not the only element dressed to impress—the 100-seat restaurant spans over 2,000 square feet of fully outdoor covered and patio dining, a large outdoor bar, and even a private dining room that can accommodate 20 guests.

The design is a bit Beverly Hills meets Tulum, with a hearty dose of modern tropical elegance and unique furniture custom-designed for the setting. Every seat has a view, and both older and younger generations will find the space comfortable, as the restaurant was designed to “feel like you’re in your own backyard, overlooking the intracoastal.”A seven-wall mural by local artist Gabriela Benatar, which took two months to complete, celebrates local flora and fauna and rounds out the dining experience.

SeaSpray Inlet Grill is located at Waterstone Resort and Marina at 999 E Camino Real. The restaurant is open every day from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights). The restaurant is also open for breakfast Thursdays through Sundays, and happy hour is 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, visit the website.
