After a record-breaking summer of sea turtle nesting (more than 16,900 nests have been counted along Juno, Jupiter-Carlin, and Tequesta beaches), the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach will offer nature enthusiasts the opportunity to attend daily Sunrise Nest Excavations throughout September. Guests 8 years and older can register to tag along on 7 a.m. excursions with the center’s educators to discuss the nesting and hatching behaviors of sea turtles and watch their data collection process. Registration costs $16 for members and $18 for non-members.
