Jodi and Darrin Swank started Swank Specialty Produce by growing three greens—lettuce, basil, and arugula—on the 20-acre Loxahatchee plot they purchased in 1999. Today, their farm abounds with more than 350 varieties of organic produce. From December through April, the Swanks invite chefs to turn their crops into alfresco feasts as part of the popular Swank Table series. This season, Jodi and Darrin are augmenting their farm-to-table offerings to include a greater bounty: family-style brunches and a new Master Chef experience featuring culinary artists from Florida and across the country. The latter will pose an elevated take on Swank Table dinners, with canapes and a welcome cocktail followed by a five-course plated meal that will highlight the presenting chefs’ signature dishes. Guests at the Master Chef evenings can also take part in hydroponic farm tours and listen to live music, with a portion of proceeds from the festivities benefiting a local charity. The first of the dinners takes place December 2 and stars chefs from the Diplomat Restaurant Group out of Hollywood, Florida. (561-202-5648)
