Matthew N. Turko is counsel in Cummings & Lockwood’s Private Client Group and is based in the firm’s Palm Beach Gardens office.
Turko advises his clients on federal income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax issues to minimize taxes and optimize the transfer of wealth to future generations, as well as on all aspects of the probate and trust administration process.
In addition, Turko establishes non-grantor trusts to maximize Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) exclusions and state income tax savings, and assists clients with the creation and funding of family LLCs and LPs. He also advises non-resident U.S. aliens on U.S. gift, estate, and income tax issues, and Connecticut and New York residents on changing their residency to Florida.
