The Square in West Palm Beach will welcome the community to its annual Holiday Kickoff celebration November 12. The open-air neighborhood will go all-out during the day-long event, which is set to mark the commencement of nightly snowfall, an artisan market with local vendors, carolers, musical performances plus, visits from Santa, elves, and the iconic Wishing Tree lighting ceremony.
The Holiday Kickoff takes over The Square from 2 to 10 p.m., promising a festive and merry beginning to the holiday season. Nostalgic Yuletide Carolers will perform holiday classics from 4 to 6 p.m.; Mister Trombone & The M.T.E Band, SoFlo Brass Band, DJ Nick Flash, and David The Drummer will take over the tunes from 6 to 10 p.m. At 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 p.m., a canopy of sustainably-made snow will fall over the neighborhood, while the Wishing Tree Light Show reveals a spectacular display.
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from November 12 through December 23, families can take Photos with Santa. Meet the jolly man himself during photos with Santa at The Workshop, located by The Wishing Tree.
The offerings round out with the festive Holiday Artisan Market from 2 to 10 p.m. November 12 and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. November 13. Along with the Sunday farmer’s market, The Square will unveil a picturesque artisan market reminiscent of a Parisian bazaar on this special holiday kickoff weekend. While strolling along Rosemary Avenue lined with shops set under colorful canopies, visitors can shop for gifts and holiday goods from a variety of local specialty vendors.
