The Urban League of Palm Beach County to Host Food Distribution

The drive-through distribution will be held at the organization's West Palm Beach headquarters on Saturday, August 15 at 7:30 a.m.

The Urban League of Palm Beach County (ULPBC) will host a Feeding South Florida drive-through food distribution on Saturday, August 15, beginning at 7:30 am, at the West Palm Beach headquarters.

The organization is on a mission to alleviate the the enormous financial burdens that the COVID-19 pandemic has imposed on members of the Palm Beach County community. To address the community’s growing needs, the Urban League started an emergency online campaign in March to collect donations to help care for vulnerable, low-income individuals and families. This will be the second drive-through food distribution.

The event will take place at the Urban League of Palm Beach County’s main office in West Palm Beach. Staff members, board members, corporate partners, and other supporters will also be distributing voter registration and U.S. Census information. Residents will also be able to complete registration for both onsite.

The drive-through food distribution is open to the public at the ULPBC main office located at 1700 N. Australian Ave, in West Palm Beach.
