Tree of Life Resource Center Thanksgiving Meal Distribution

The organization will host its monthly Drive-Thru Community Food Distribution with a special Thanksgiving meal package for families on Friday, November 13

Tree of Life Resource Center and the Schumacher Automotive Group will host their monthly Drive-Thru Community Food Distribution event with venue partner Palm Beach Outlets on Friday, November 13, from 8 to 10 a.m. In celebration of Thanksgiving, a special Thanksgiving Meal Package, including a fresh turkey, will be distributed in addition to the usual box of fresh produce, dairy, and protein from Farm Share.

All vehicles will enter through the Congress Ave. gate where volunteers from Schumacher Auto Group, Tree of Life Foundation International, Keiser University athletes from the softball, golf, lacrosse, and cheer teams, and local officers will assist in the distribution of items on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last, to include produce, non-perishable foods and dairy for 500 families.

“The holidays can be especially difficult for our community this year. We are here to help and we hope that this Thanksgiving meal brings everyone joy and hope for brighter days ahead,” said Amanda Schumacher, president and founder of Tree of Life Foundation International. “Since we opened our center doors, we have distributed over 1,000,000 pounds of food and we are grateful for our collaborative partners on this November event: Schumacher Automotive Group, Farm Share, Keiser University Seahawks, Dedicated Senior Medical Center, and Palm Beach Outlets.”

To adhere to the COVID-19 CDC health and safety guidelines, all volunteers will wear gloves and masks and attendees must remain in their vehicles and open their trunks when it is their turn in line to receive items.

For those interested, Palm Beach Atlantic University’s School of Pharmacy will be at the event doing socially distanced well-checks for guests waiting in their cars before the distribution begins.

There is a limit of one Thanksgiving Meal Package per vehicle.
