The Worth Avenue Association is giving you a chance to go green and give back. In an effort to support sea turtle health, join local community members for a seaside cleanup on Palm Beach on the second Tuesday of each month through October.
Volunteers from July’s Turtle Tuesday event removed 329 pounds of debris from Clarke Avenue Beach. With volunteer attendance reaching an all-time high in July, these events are making a significant ecological difference and leaving participants with a heightened awareness regarding the human-impact on the planet.
The next Turtle Tuesday is scheduled for August 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. The beach location will be determined at a later date. For the most up-to-date information regarding future cleanups, follow @turtle.tuesday on Instagram. Sponsors of Turtle Tuesdays include Loggerhead Marinelife Center, The Colony Hotel, ESPN West Palm, and Boxed Water.
