United Way of Palm Beach County hosted its Heart of Palm Beach County premiere event on May 11, 2023, at the Hilton West Palm Beach to celebrate the impact we have had on the county, thanks to the support of our community partners and corporate sponsors. This highly anticipated event featured a cocktail reception, dinner, awards ceremony, and a raffle.
The evening began with welcoming more than 300 guests to an outdoor cocktail reception, where guests could grab a complimentary cocktail and mingle with fellow community members. Guests in attendance included Palm Beach County Mayor Gregg Weiss, Palm Beach County Commissioner Maria Marino, State Attorney, 15th Judicial Circuit, Dave Aronberg, Donna Glenn, our Tocqueville Society Cabinet Chair, Erika DeBlasi, our Women United Committee Chair, and many more. During this time, guests could enter their name for a chance to win a beautiful Chantecler Logo
Palm Beach pendant donated by Hamilton Jewelers with a retail price of $2,390.
The awards ceremony commenced at 7:00 p.m. with an introduction from Frank Compiani, Chair of the Board of Directors and event co-chair, Dr. Laurie George, our President and CEO, and Christopher Chase, our Campaign Cabinet Chair and Event Co-chair. Once dinner was served, our emcee of the night, Mike McGann, announced the award winners of 22 community members, nonprofit agencies, and top corporate and union contributors.

- Spotlight Award: Palm Beach County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller
- Top Corporate Campaign: Publix Super Markets and Publix Super Market Charities, Inc., NextEra Energy, the Parent Company of FPL, Palm Beach County Government Employees, Bank of America, NCCI Holdings, Inc., Costco Wholesale, Pratt & Whitney – A Raytheon Technologies Company, EY, the School District of Palm Beach County, UPS, and Enterprise Holdings.
