The award-winning Suncoast Community High School Musical Theatre Department presents Tony-nominated The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 8th, 9th and 10th. An eclectic group of sixth-graders arrives at the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, each eager to win for very different reasons. Spelling Bee was based on C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E, an original play created by Rebecca Feldman and the comedy troupe The Farm. Urinetown, the musical, satirizes the legal system, social irresponsibility, capitalism, bureaucracy, populism, corporate mismanagement and municipal politics. Urinetown is directed by Stephanie Nixdorf and choreographed by Jackie Bayne and Jason Gillaman.
