The City of West Palm Beach’s iconic 4th on Flagler celebration will return this year with pandemic-minded adjustments. The free fun kicks off at 7 p.m. along Flagler Dr. between Banyan Blvd. and Fern St., with fireworks illuminating the sky over the Intracoastal beginning at 9:09 p.m.

Fans of the fireworks extravaganza can expect roving entertainment, live music by Remix on the NewDay USA Stage located on the Palm Stage, a DJ stage on the south end at Post Park, and a themed show at the Centennial Fountain. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

In addition to the entertainment, Supercar Week will host “Drive In 4th,” a festive car show featuring all makes and models along Flagler Drive. For those looking to start the fun early, the Bill Bone 5K will “run to the fun.” The family-friendly run begins at Osprey Park at 6:30 p.m. and finishes adjacent to the north end of the 4th on Flagler site.

Remarks by Mayor Keith A. James and the announcement of the 2021 Hometown Heroes will be delivered at the Palm Stage at 8:45 p.m. Fireworks will immediately follow.

The City of West Palm Beach will follow current CDC, federal, state, and local COVID-19 guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, encouraging social distancing and providing several hand washing/sanitizing stations throughout the venue.
