Come face-to-face with African wildlife and learn about the conservation efforts preserving them in the “2022 Benjamin Mkapa African Wildlife Photography Awards” exhibition, on view at The Society of the Four Arts on Palm Beach April 26 to June 4. This showcase features the winning entries of the second annual Benjamin Mkapa African Wildlife Photography Awards, a joint effort between the African Wildlife Foundation and Nature’s Best Photography. The international competition accepts submissions from photographers of all creeds who advocate for wildlife conservation.

Visitors can gaze into the eyes of a mountain gorilla in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park in the grand prize–winning image by Michelle Kranz, and relish in a tender moment between elephant conservation caregiver Mary Langees and an African elephant calf at the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Samburu, Kenya, captured by Anthony Ochieng Onyango of Nairobi. Admission is $10 and reservations are required.
