Miami City Ballet’s Program Four features the company premiere of Alexei Ratmansky’s acclaimed Concerto DSCH. Inspired by Miguel de Cervantes’ seventeenth-century novel, this musical follows the antics of wannabe knight Don Quixote, his squire, Sancho, and the object of his desire, Dulcinea. The program will include performances of Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, featuring choreography by George Balanchine and music by Richard Rogers; Stravinsky Violin Concerto, with choreography by Balanchine and music by Igor Stravinsky; and Mercuric Tidings, complete with choreography by Paul Taylor and music by Franz Schubert.
