AUDITION DETAILS
Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song in the style o the show. Provide music backing tracks on CD, phone or MP3. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes in which to learn a dance combination. Be prepared to cold read from the script.

The final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein was destined to become the world’s most beloved musical. Featuring cherished songs Climb Ev’ry Mountain, My Favorite Things, Do Re Mi, Sixteen Going on Seventeen and The Sound of Music earned 5 Tony Awards and 5 Oscars.
The inspirational story follows Maria, an ebullient postulant who serves as governess to the 7 children of Captain Von Trapp, who brings music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, the Von Trapp family must make a moral decision.
