Crafting for Conservation: Cyanotype Canvas Bag

Create a cyanotype canvas tote using the power of sunlight on August 30, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Cyanotype uses sunlight to create blue and white prints. Simply place natural objects like leaves or flowers on the tote, let the sun shine, and watch designs appear.
Canvas tote bags, cyanotype dye, foliage, and nature themed cut-outs will be provided. Guests may feel free to bring objects from home. While artwork dries, join the sanctuary for a Conservation Conversation in the shaded amphitheater at 11:30 a.m. Registration is $20 and can be completed here.

American Sign Language (ASL) Family Day

Celebrate National Deaf Awareness Month during ASL Family Day September 5. • 11 a.m. Panthers on the Prowl at the Panther Habitat
