The Darbster Foundation will host the third annual Fur Ball on Sunday, November 21, at Club Colette in Palm Beach. Benefitting and befitting of a local animal welfare foundation that transports area homeless animals to forever homes in New England, the event will feature a silent auction for high-end, boutique-style pet beds, created by select local and New England designers.
The Fur Ball recognizes donors and supporters of the Darbster Foundation while celebrating the achievements of past year and raising funds for future projects. Traditionally held in March, the fundraiser was rescheduled to ensure a healthy and safe environment for guests.
Co-chairs Victor Figueredo, Jacqui Michel, Renee Morrison, Laura Moore Tanne, and Hope Geier Smith, as well as Honorary Chair Felicia Taylor will host the event.
Tickets are $450 per person. Several sponsorship levels are also available from the Great Dane Benefactor ($25,000) to the Chiweenie Benefactor ($1,000).
The Darbster Foundation is a 501(c) 3 committed to reducing the number of animals euthanized in the overcrowded shelters of South Florida, particularly in Palm Beach County. In addition to sponsoring spay/neuter efforts, we work with local community organizations to rescue and prepare healthy, adoptable dogs and cats for transport to our shelter and partner shelters in high demand areas in New England. Despite the many challenges of 2020, we transported a record of 2,050 cats and 389 dogs. Since its founding, the Foundation has saved the lives of over 8,000 dogs and cats.
Club Colette is located a 215 Peruvian Avenue in Palm Beach. The event starts at 6:30 pm. For more information, please contact Deborah Smith or Victor Figueredo: firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com.
