Tina Lewert is one of only 272 of Florida’s more than 115,000 lawyers who are board certified in marital and family law. That rare distinction, held by Lewert since 2009, represents the bar’s own attestation to her skill, knowledge, experience, and ethics; but there’s more than that to being one of her clients.
Most people who walk into a divorce lawyer’s office are apprehensive, first-time litigants, being asked to make permanent decisions at one of the worst moments of their lives. Lewert has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a family law mediator since 2007, and she serves as a special magistrate in family law matters. In both roles, she is chosen by the attorneys who otherwise face her across the table. Few credentials are harder to earn than the trust of opposing counsel.
Now in its twenty-third year, Lewert Law handles parenting, complex asset distribution, alimony and child support matters, including modifications and enforcement. Lewert is past president of the Greenberg Gamot Family Law American Inn of Court, wherein she led the inn’s philanthropic partnerships and mentorship efforts. She has been named a Florida Super Lawyer for 14 consecutive years and is recognized in the 2026 U.S. News directory of Best Lawyers in America. Lewert earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University and her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University.
