Shop worldly and eclectic wares without so much as leaving the county, or even The Royal Poinciana Plaza. On January 30 and 31, visitors to The Royal will notice an outdoor addition to the plaza’s courtyard—The Souk.
The Souk, presented by The Grand Tour, will bring an immersive shopping experience to the plaza in celebration of The Grand Tour’s first anniversary. Mirroring the open-air markets of Marrakesh or Istanbul, The Souk will feature tented areas where guests can wander and peruse genuine textiles and goods. In addition to a variety of vendors, the courtyard will host engaging exhibits including book signings, interactive trunk shows, live paintings, and lectures.
Additional highlights of The Grand Tour’s anniversary celebration include a Thursday evening cocktail celebration, Friday’s Breakfast with Champions panel discussion, and two days of special events with well-known artists and makers. For a complete list of happenings, click here.
