Beginning March 13: PHOTO+: Mixed Media and the Photographic Image

The “PHOTO+: Mixed Media and the Photographic Image” exhibition will open at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach on Friday, March 13. The show’s thought-provoking works explore the evolution of photographic technique from the mid-twentieth century through today, as well as the medium’s place in other media. March 16: “Native Plants in the Landscape” Lecture with Raymond Jungles 

Let your curiosity bloom when the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach hosts renowned landscape architect Raymond Jungles for a lecture at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach on Monday, March 16. Gardening enthusiasts are invited to learn about Jungles’ career and the importance of gardening with eco-friendly native plants. A reception in Pan’s Garden will follow the lecture. March 17: Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra

The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra will fill the Dreyfoos Concert Hall at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach with symphonic sounds on Tuesday, March 17. Conducted by Lahav Shani, the orchestra and pianist Emanuel Ax will take audiences through the swelling movements of Johannes Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor, Op. 15 and Béla Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra, S2. 116.
