The always popular Boca Bacchanal, the annual celebration of fine wine and food benefitting the Boca Raton Historical Society, will be back for two delicious nights May 6 and 7.
The foodie fete’s beloved Vintner Dinners will kick off on Friday, May 6, held in private homes, historical locations, and other venues throughout Boca Raton. Diners will enjoy one of five simultaneous culinary experiences that will pair the talents of internationally-acclaimed vintners with five-course dinners prepared by renowned chefs. Tickets for the Vintner Dinners are $350.
Boca Bacchanal kicks into high gear on Saturday, May 7, at The Grand Tasting at The Boca Raton. The landmark sets the scene for wine and Champagne tastings hosted by award-winning vintners, generous samplings of signature dishes from local restaurants, and a silent auction of wine, dining, travel, and lifestyle packages. The Grand Tasting will take place in the Grand Ballroom in the Mizner Center. The Boca Raton is located at 501 East Camino Real. Tickets for The Grand Tasting are $200.
The Grand Tasting guests will sample wines crafted by vintners Christophe Bristiel (Château La Nerthe); Chris Baker (DAOU Vineyards); Tim Duncan (Silver Oak & Twomey Cellars); Katie Madigan (Francis Winery & Vineyards); and Tony Apostolakos (Masi Agricola). In addition to these prized selections, more than 170 wines from 40 wineries will also be available for sampling.
Dinner-by-the-bite at the Boca Bacchanal Grand Tasting will feature elegant and delicious selections provided by the following local eateries in Boca Raton and Delray Beach: 10 Stations by The Boca Raton; Brulé Bistro and Rose’s Daughter; Eat District Healthy Asian Bowl; Ganzo Sushi; KakaoZon Chocolate; Kapow!
