Florie’s Returns with Takeaway

A new service lets diners experience the cuisine of chef Mauro Colagreco at home.

Oh, Florie’s, how we’ve missed thee.

The signature restaurant of the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, the only eatery in the U.S. created in partnership with three-Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco, has been in hibernation since the pandemic took hold last year. Now it is back with Home by Florie’s, a new takeaway service offered for dinner Fridays and Saturdays as well as breakfast on Sundays.

Dinner menu highlights include Colagreco’s lauded heirloom tomato and persimmon carpaccio with Sicilian pistachios, chives, gooseberries, Marcona almonds, and ginger vinaigrette; Rangers Valley Wagyu beef tenderloin yakitori with red pepper coulis, chives, and shallot vinegar; and New Zealand lamb shank with sweet potatoes, dates, walnuts, and black sesame sauce. Even dishes such as the humble burger are a heavenly experience—think: a Creekstone Farms beef patty layered with aged Vermont cheddar, Nueske’s bacon, LTO, pickles, and a house sauce between a brioche bun. End on a sweet note with a lemon tart topped with Meyer lemon curd and meringue, or white chocolate mousse with Florida passion fruit sorbet and coulis.

Elevate the meal even further with one of Florie’s cocktail starter kits, inspired by the bar’s Botanical Guide. Options such as the Orange Blossom, Rose, or Marigot come with a house-made mixer and recipe—you just add the spirits and shake it up at home.

When it comes to special touches, the Florie’s team goes above and beyond. The cocktail kit, for example, might be tied up with a few sprigs of baby’s breath. Colagreco’s divine signature bread might be accompanied with a bottle of ginger and Menton lemon olive oil, as well as a poem by Pablo Neruda espousing the glory of bread itself.

Those in more of a breakfast mood can look forward to delights such as brioche French toast, lemon ricotta pancakes, and huevos rancheros.

Dinner is available Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 8:30 p.m., with breakfast service on Sundays from 9 a.m. to noon.
