The Fourth Annual Cajun Crawfish & Music Festival will bring food, music, and dance to the Abacoa Amphitheatre April 22 and 23

The Fourth Annual Cajun Crawfish & Music Festival, presented by Good Greek Moving & Storage, returns to Abacoa Amphitheatre April 22 and 23 (from 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday). This annual festival celebrates the culture and traditions of Louisiana through food, music, and dance. New Orleans-born Virginia Sinicki from The KVJ Show will be this year’s Master of Ceremonies. The two-day event will benefit Little Smiles and Maddie’s Fight Foundation.

Get a taste of the Big Easy with Louisiana John’s crawfish boil. There will also be jambalaya, gumbo, po’ boys, gator tail, muffulettas, crawfish étouffée, and traditional beignets. This year’s festival will also feature the first crawfish-eating contest on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m.

Voodoo Bayou chefs will host cooking demonstrations with local celebrities to create their personal food and drink favorites. Enjoy the Bourbon Street atmosphere with all the classic cocktails such as Hurricanes, Grenades, and Virginia’s Champagne Hurricane specialty drink.

Hot Sauce Moon and Deadbeat Daddies will lend their musical talents to the stage on Friday. Jason Pennington from The KVJ Show will be performing live with his band, The Snack Pack, with a headlining performance by Rockin’ Jake.

General admission is $5. Reserved stage pods with four seats and a table and Private VIP Chalets with eight seats and table under a tent, including waiter/waitress service, will be available for purchase on Eventbrite. Children ages 12 and younger get in for free. General lawn seating will also be available for those who would like to bring their own chair/blanket to enjoy the all-day entertainment.
