The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County will unveil “Seams Between Land and Sky,” a solo exhibition of works by West Palm Beach-based artist Katherine Hofmann, on view March 27 to May 9.

Hofmann’s work emerges from a process of burying, excavating, tangling, and detangling, unearthing memories through painting. Her large-scale works on paper, created with experimental watercolor, natural pigments, and handmade collage, trace water’s flow and stillness while weaving personal encounters into layered landscapes tied to place and time.
Hofmann is a teaching artist at the Norton Museum of Art, and her work has been featured throughout Miami in several exhibitions and in several private collections. “Seams Between Land and Sky” will be her first solo exhibition.
The opening reception of “Seams Between Land and Sky” will take place on March 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
