The Lexus International Gay Polo Tournament gallops back onto the scene for its thirteenth year April 6-10. The five-day extravaganza returns to the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington to celebrate the sport and spotlight its pioneering mission to foster opportunity, safety, and community for LGBTQ+ athletes in polo and beyond.
Spectators are welcome at the Gay Polo League’s Senator Cup preliminary matches and Polotini Charity Event April 8; the Senator Cup Finals, FPL Founder’s Cup Finals, and Gay Polo League Tailgate Competition April 9; and brunch April 10.
This year’s event will benefit the OnePulse Foundation, which was founded following the mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub that claimed 49 lives in 2016. The foundation is working to create a sanctuary for the community and build a national LGBTQ+ Museum to honor the lives lost.
