Moms may order the Surf & Turf from 4 to 9 p.m. at Okeechobee Steakhouse in West Palm Beach, which includes a filet mignon medallion, butter-poached lobster tail, saffron risotto, and Calabrian chili chimichurri for $66 per person. Or, for $70 per person, stop at Lewis Steakhouse in Jupiter for the 48-hour braised prime short rib with carbonara risotto, Champagne demi-glace, and black summer truffle. Another option is Lewis Prime Grill in Loxahatchee, where you can try the filet “Oscar,” an 8-ounce filet mignon served with a lobster tail, asparagus, and béarnaise sauce for $63. Serena Pastifico in Boca Raton will host a spectacular brunch buffet May 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will feature a variety of meats, cheeses, fruits, and breads, as well as specialty dishes such as pastas, salads, sides, and traditional Italian desserts.
