How she became a social media consultant: It was a natural evolution after being an AOL executive. People come to me for advice on how to establish or improve their social media presence. I also have a strong background in Internet privacy as well as community and advertising policies and am often sought out for guidance on such matters.

Little-known fact: I spent the first three years of my life living in Hong Kong. My father was in the Foreign Service. I grew up in Paris and Washington, D.C. and lived in Rome during high school. While I was in college I spent a year in Moscow, and after college I lived in Portugal.
Gadget obsession: Nest thermostat
Bucket-list must: Move to Southeast Asia with the family for a few years.
Favorite pastime: Snuggling in bed with my children.

Something she does every day: I take a photo of my children before they leave for school. I call it their Morning Mugshot.
