Perfect the Art of Wine and Charcuterie at the Four Seasons Palm Beach

Wine enthusiasts of Palm Beach County take notice: Florie’s Sips of Summer series deserves a spot on your calendar.

On one Thursday each month until October, Florie’s internationally certified and trained wine and water sommelier Jessica Altieri is hosting a themed micro wine tasting event at the restaurant in the newly renovated Four Seasons Palm Beach. These interactive experiences will include pairings of new wines from world-renowned winemakers with small bites from Florie’s and lively conversation about the wines and their origins.

Altieri boasts more than a decade of experience in the wine, food, and culture market industry, and was named a “40 Under 40 Tastemaker” by Wine Enthusiast magazine. Her extensive knowledge of wine, vineyards and wineries, and wine pairing will dazzle and inform guests.

And of course, attendees can expect the same quality they’ve come to know from the Mediterranean-inspired eatery in partnership with three-Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco, and led by chef de cuisine Florenzo Barbieri.

In the next event of the series, on June 27, Altieri will explain “How to Build the Perfect Charcuterie Board,” with six bottles from Duckhorn Vineyards. Then, on July 25 “Truffles and Tuscany” will feature Tuscan wines from Banfi Vintners. August 15 will welcome “Timeless Classics” of Napa Valley from Cakebread Cellars, while September 12 will highlight “Piedmont on a Plate” and Chiarlo Winery, and finally, on October 3, “Wine County Classics” will wrap up the series with wines from Joseph Phelps Vineyards in Napa Valley.

The Sips of Summer series is not only an opportunity learn from a master about wine pairing, but also a chance to meet others from the area who share a love of wine. This dynamic and entertaining experience will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at a price of $75 per person.
