The West Palm Beach GreenMarket returns to the city’s downtown waterfront October 3. Consistently ranked as the No. 1 farmers market in the United States in USA Today’s 10 Best Readers Choice Awards, the GreenMarket has blossomed in recent years to include roughly 150 vendors, live entertainment, and elite people watching. It takes place every Saturday morning, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., through May 22, except for February 6 and March 20. Here, we spotlight a handful of the local vendors who make the market so special.

Famous for: “The best stuffed bagels in Florida. Our New York–style, kettle-boiled bagels do not have a hole because we bake them with the cream cheese inside.”
Favorite thing about the GreenMarket: “What I love most is that the market always feels familiar yet fresh. We get to see our regulars, meet travelers discovering Palm Beach as the first stop on the food tour, and collaborate with some seriously talented local vendors. It’s the perfect combination of community and creativity, leaving our hearts as full as our bagels.”

Our Banana Whip is made with no dairy, no gluten, and no refined sugars, literally just a banana, making it a delicious option for people looking for a healthier sweet treat.”
Favorite thing about the GreenMarket: “Without a doubt, it’s the community and the relationships we’ve built with our customers. We love seeing familiar faces come back week after week, getting to know our customers and their families, and watching people introduce their friends to Rick’s Banana Whips for the first time.”

Favorite thing about the GreenMarket: “I love the camaraderie between myself and the other vendors and city staff. There is a family aspect to being part of the West Palm Beach GreenMarket. Additionally, I love selling my food in the street—it brings a joy you can’t replicate in a large restaurant.
