This summer, Loggerhead Marinelife Center will be continuing its nighttime Turtle Walks for children and adults alike. The center’s unique beach tours allow visitors to observe the nesting behaviors of sea turtles, with expert guidance from center’s staff. Due to state issued permit requirements, space on the tours is limited, so reservations are strongly encouraged.

Turtle Walks cost $20 per person for LMC members and $22 for non-members. Walk-ins are $22, and a spot is not guaranteed. All individuals, including children, are required to pre-register online to reserve their spot. Children must be 10 years or older to attend the walks and all participants must be able to walk up to half a mile. Face coverings are required for all participants.

Guests can reserve spots for Turtle Walks on June 27, July 4, July 9, July 22, July 23, July 28, July 29, and July 31. Visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center‘s website for more information.
