Witches will “take flight” down Atlantic Avenue and through Pineapple Grove in downtown Delray Beach as the Achievement Centers for Children & Families hosts its Fourteenth Annual Witches of Delray Beach Bike Ride October 25. This year’s bike ride features an extended route of two miles.

Three hundred witches will don their best witch-wear and extravagantly decorated bikes to ride through downtown Delray Beach, guided by the Delray Beach Police Department. The ride will take off promptly at 8:30 a.m. After the ride, the witchy celebration continues with music, mingling, and awards including “Best Costume,” “Best Witch Cackle,” “Best Decorated Broom (Bike),” and “Best Group Theme.” Registration is $100.

Additionally, Tim Finnegan’s Irish Pub will host the signature Witches Brew fundraiser October 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests will enjoy raffles, contests, food, and drinks, as well as prizes for “Best Decorated Table” and “Best Dressed Brew Attendee.” Seats are $65 each with limited availability. Raffle tickets to win one of two decorated bicycles are available at Tim Finnegan’s.

Funds raised from the Witches Ride benefit Achievement Centers for Children & Families, a community-based organization that serves under-resourced children and families in Delray Beach and surrounding communities.
