A New Chapter in Country Club Living Is Taking Shape on the Treasure Coast

As South Florida continues to evolve, a growing number of buyers are beginning to look just beyond Palm Beach—not to step away from the lifestyle they value, but to expand it. More space, newer homes, and a more balanced pace of life are becoming part of the conversation, particularly for those who want everyday access to golf, wellness, and social connection without the formality of traditional club environments.

In Port St. Lucie, within the master-planned community of Wylder, Glynlea Country Club is emerging as a thoughtful response to that shift. Designed as a modern interpretation of club living, Glynlea brings together a Jim Furyk championship golf course, a central 10-acre amenity campus, and new residential offerings in a setting defined by open space and a more relaxed rhythm of daily life.

“What we’re seeing is a shift toward communities that feel more connected to how people actually live day to day,” says Austin Burr, GreenPointe Holding’s Regional President, South Florida. “Places where golf, fitness, and social spaces are part of a regular routine—not something reserved for special occasions.”

That approach is evident throughout Glynlea’s design. The central club campus brings together wellness, racquet sports, and gathering spaces in a walkable, integrated environment. The Jim Furyk–designed championship course anchors the experience, offering a layout that is both engaging and approachable, while the first-of-its-kind Aquatic Toptracer driving range introduces a more social and interactive dimension to the game.

Beyond golf, the community is designed to support an active, connected lifestyle. Planned resort-style pools, fitness and wellness facilities, and a growing calendar of social programming are intended to be part of everyday life, creating an environment where activity and connection happen naturally.

Residential offerings are evolving alongside the community itself. With single-family homes currently available from nationally recognized builders, Perry Homes and Lennar from the $400s to over $1 million, Glynlea continues to expand. The upcoming introduction of Dream Finders Homes will add a new collection of thoughtfully designed residences, giving homebuyers even more flexibility in choosing their home.

Set within the wider context of the Treasure Coast, Glynlea offers proximity to the cultural, dining, and coastal experiences of the region while maintaining a sense of openness that is increasingly difficult to find farther south. It is this balance—access and ease, activity and space—that is drawing attention.

For those exploring what’s next in South Florida living, Glynlea represents something still taking shape, yet already active and engaging.
