Armory Art Center is accepting artist applications to participate in the tenth annual Creative Market, returning to the West Palm Beach landmark December 5-6.
The juried art festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, showcasing an array of artisans, styles, and wares, as well as performing artists, craft food, and beverages for guests to enjoy.
The market hosts nearly 5,000 visitors every year, giving professional artists the chance to meet and sell their artworks to visitors and residents alike. The Creative Market will also include a special juried art exhibition, “Humorous: The Art of Laughter,” celebrating how humor unites diverse cultures, mends emotional scars, challenges societal norms, and illuminates life’s ironies through laughter and humor. The exhibition will be on view November 2 to December 26 at the Armory Art Center.
How to Apply:
Artists are invited to apply in basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, wood, leather, sculpture, painting, printmaking, and more. Exhibitors are chosen by a jury of highly qualified 2D and 3D fine artists and craftspeople. The Creative Market application deadline is October 2.
Artists may also apply to be featured in “Humorous: The Art of Laughter” by October 4.
