Ballet Palm Beach will stage Giselle, widely hailed as one of the greatest ballets and a true gem in the romantic classical repertoire, at Dreyfoos Hall at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach May 16. Performances will take place at 2 and 7 p.m.
This enchanting ballet tells a poignant tale of unrequited love, loss, and, ultimately, triumphant forgiveness. Joining company dancers are Vadmin and Pumpkin, a pair of Borzois, Russian hunting dogs, owned by Bonnie Barwick. Borzoi have been used by several companies for the iconic hunting scene in Giselle since 1911.
Tickets start at $25 and may be purchased at kravis.org or by calling the box office at 561-832-7469.
