St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in downtown Boca Raton will set the scene for A New Orleans Jazz Christmas, an evening of world-class jazz featuring Wycliffe Gordon and the acclaimed trio La Lucha, December 6.
Known internationally for his soulful trombone sound, powerful stage presence, and mastery of traditional and modern jazz, Gordon has been named “Best Trombonist” by DownBeat Magazine for over a decade. During this concert, he’ll infuse the joy and rhythm of New Orleans into cherished Christmas favorites and beloved jazz standards.
The evening begins with the concert inside St. Gregory’s beautiful sanctuary—renowned for its acoustics and historic Austin pipe organ—and continues with a champagne reception, gourmet dinner, and live and silent auctions, all benefiting St. Gregory’s mission and ministries.
