In celebration of Memorial Day, Rosemary Square in West Palm Beach is curating a festivity-packed weekend with a series of family festivities, dessert pop-ups, and live music amid their lush lawns.

The weekend of fun will begin with TGIFamily Night on Friday, May 28, featuring an Art & Dance party at 4 p.m. Families are invited to kick off the long weekend with a performance by Rhythm & Hues, accompanied by free projects for children. The event is free and open to all ages.

Following the hour of music and dance, guests are invited to sit down for Revolutionary Storytime with Rohi’s Readery at 5 p.m. Join Pranati “Pranoo” Kumar of Rohi’s Readery for a story on the lawn featuring books that foster inclusivity and diversity to develop revolutionary readers and thinkers. The May book selection will shed light on Mental Health Awareness Month.

After storytime, green thumbs of all ages will plant their own veggies, herbs, and flowers with the help of The Garden Shoppe from 6 to 7 p.m. Children will learn more about where their food comes from and how to care for your new plant. Tickets costs $10 and include one herb or vegetable plant, one pot, and soil. Register here.

Throughout the weekend, shoppers and event guests alike are welcome to sample plant-based, dairy free ice cream at Angie’s Epicurean Pop Up under The Wishing Tree. The pop-up will set up shop from May 27 to 31, from 1 to 10 p.m.
