New Year’s Eve Parties You Won’t Want to Miss

Avocado Grill

Both locations of chef Julien Gremaud’s popular resto will be open all day on New Year’s Eve. At the West Palm Beach location, a five-course dinner with a glass of Champagne for $149 will be served beginning at 9 p.m. The dinner will begin with lobster and kiwi ceviche and wild mushroom soup. Diners will then be treated to seared diver scallops with truffle cauliflower purée, cranberry, apple, squash, brussels sprout, and hazelnut succotash with a port and sage reduction, and braised short ribs with farro fried rice, grilled broccolini, and a soy-dashi broth. Avocado Grill’s famous dulce de leche lava cake will conclude the experience. The Palm Beach Gardens location will offer specials throughout the day, beginning with the Downtown at the Gardens’ Noon Year’s Eve celebration and continuing into the night. Mazie’s

This eatery in the South Dixie Corridor will tent its parking lot to house 300 attendees for a New Year’s Eve Casino Night Gala, produced by Bruce Sutka Productions. Leading up to the midnight toast, guests will enjoy live music from The Kinected, dancing, interactive art, a photo booth, open bar, and food stations and heavy passed canapes from chef Eric Baker. Blackjack, craps, and roulette will allow for all-night gaming, and the top 10 chip winners will win luxury prizes, such as vacations and a private dinner for 10 from chef Baker. VIP areas will be available for larger groups.

“It will be over-the-top, with nonstop food, dancing, and casino fun,” says co-owner Jason Lakow. “We are particularly excited about our beverage partnerships [with Absolut Elyx, Monkey 47 Gin, Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, Perrier-Jouët], so it will truly be a premium open bar all night long. Clay Conley’s El Cid restaurant will host The Pap Corps Party for a Cure to support research programs at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. The Champagne will be flowing at this cocktail party, which will feature an open bar, a raw bar, and a dessert bar, as well as live music from Chris Ferrara and The Common Good. $200, West Palm Beach

The Colony Hotel

Palm Beach’s iconic pink hotel will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a party themed “Midnight in Garden of Good & Evil” on the pool deck.
