Palm Beach Dramaworks to Host Virtual Interview with The Lubben Brothers

The organization will host the band as a part of the ongoing "Dramalogue: Talking Theatre" live interview series on August 14

Palm Beach Dramaworks will host The Lubben Brothers, the South Florida-based folk band, for a music-focused presentation of “Dramalogue: Talking Theatre” on Friday, August 14 at 7:30 p.m. The “Dramalogue: Talking Theatre” live interview series kicked off this summer as a way for Palm Beach Dramaworks to pay tribute to artists and as an opportunity for industry professionals, master artists, and arts advocates to connect with the arts community, even from a distance. Bruce Linser, Dramaworkshop manager, will moderate the exclusive interview. Tickets for the Zoom performance can be reserved here.

About the Band (of Brothers)

The Lubben Brothers are an acoustic group made up of triplets Michael, Tom, and Joshua. Younger brother, Isaac, joins them from the suburbs of Chicago whenever possible. The brothers specialize in tight vocal harmonies and use a unique blend of folk instruments including banjo, mandolin, accordion, tin whistle, hammered dulcimer, and fiddle. They have appeared in two productions at Palm Beach Dramaworks, including Woody Guthrie’s American Song and The Spitfire Grill. Their modern songwriting style incorporates folk roots with complex pop ideas, building upon a classic training foundation.
