One of North County’s most happening hot spots, The Parched Pig is upping the ante on weekday libations with Tiki Tuesdays. Every Tuesday evening (from 4 to 11 p.m.), guests will be privy to a special cocktail menu inspired by 1930s-era drinks made popular at the iconic Don the Beachcomber bar and restaurant. The tiki libations on offer are: the Tiki Fashion, The Parched Pig’s take on a banana rum old fashion; the Saturn Swizzle, a deeper, more bitter spin on a classic cocktail called the Saturn; and La Caja China, a pineapple margarita with a spicy-meets-smoky flavor profile. There’s also a classic daquiri available for tiki purists. Add a shot of Mango Season (a house-infused mango rum) and you’ll be on island time in no time.
