Food truck friends, mark this on your calendar: Downtown West Palm Beach will host its first-ever food truck rally April 16 in support of the Leukamia and Lymphoma Society. From 6-9 p.m., Palm Beach Motor Cars will transform a swank private lot into a sprawling lot of foodie fun with nosh trucks Bite Gastrotruck, HipPOPs, BC Tacos, Spring In-Roll Out and Curbside Gourmet interspersed with Jaguars and Aston Martins. To wash it all down, sip on craft cocktails, fresh-pressed juices and Onli sparkling water.
Part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Man & Woman of the Year” fundraising campaign, TruckStop is being produced by Aime Dunstan and #TEAMAIME, president and creative director of It! Events + Media and nominee of this year’s campaign. Her campaign fundraising goal is $75,000, all of which will go directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission to “cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma through funding research and the therapy acceleration program as well as improve the quality of life of patients and their families.”
- Admission to this all-inclusive chic, urban soiree costs $100 in advance, $125 at the entrance. Along with food and sips, there will be live entertainment and yoga demonstrations from Haute Yoga.
- Be sure to stop by Rupenzel’s Closet on April 9 for the unveiling of #TEAMAIME’s special window display with a cocktail reception to support LLS.
