Palm Beach’s Via Amore courtyard will be abuzz with savory sounds under the stars April 11 for the eighth annual Worth Tasting on Worth Avenue. Hosted by the Junior League of the Palm Beaches, the alfresco food and wine event will take place from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and feature all-you-can-enjoy small bites and drink samplings from celebrated area establishments, including PGA National Resort and Spa, Onli Beverages, Cabo Flats, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Gourmet Adventures Catering and Baking, Brewery Ommegang and PRP Wine International. The best part? All proceeds from the posh soiree go to JLPB’s community programs, which include the Nelle Smith Residence for Girls, mentoring sessions at the Department of Juvenile Justice, Eye and Ear, a program providing free vision and hearing screenings for preschoolers, and volunteer work and funds for area nonprofits devoted to children in the community.
- Tickets cost $90 for general admission or $125 for VIP, which grants access to the party at 6:30 p.m., an hour before the doors open for general admission. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 561-689-7590 or visit jlpb.org.
- An all-female volunteer group, JLPB is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving children’s wellness and welfare in the community. Now in its eighth year, Worth Tasting is one of the league’s signature events.
