Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan will celebrate the foodie season and host its Barley & Hops Weekend from December 11-13. The festive event will kick off with the Brewmaster’s Dinner at Angle, featuring a five-course dinner prepared by executive sous chef Matthew Gale, on Friday, December 11 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Brewmaster Matt Coxx from Copperpoint Brewing Company will pair a beer with each course. Reservations are required and cost $95 per person.
The fun will continue on December 12, when Breeze Ocean Kitchen (also celebrating its fifth birthday) hosts the Fifth Annual Craft Burgers & Brew competition from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring live entertainment and delicious specials. Guests will indulge in three chef-created sliders and a flight of beer from taprooms like Copperpoint, Mathews Brewing Company, or Civil Society Brewing Company for $21 per person. For $35 per person, guests will enjoy a bottomless pint in addition to the delectable sliders. Guests vote for their favorite chef burger, brew, and pairing.
The brew-forward weekend will draw to a close on December 13 with the alfresco Barley & Hops Brunch at Breeze Ocean Kitchen featuring craft beer from Mathews Brewing Co. Guests will enjoy oceanside a la crate brunch and live entertainment.
